"Why abstract art?"
I prefer not to label my art but for category's sake I guess it would be considered abstract expressionism. I have always been a very good sketch artist but my passion lies in painting. I grew tired of real life images. I found it boring and unoriginal. Why should I sketch or paint everyday things if there is no emotion... no passion involved? I refuse to paint if there is no feeling involved. My paintings are very personal to me. Every single painting represents an emotion or an experience. It's on display for all to see. |
